Field-Based – South of England
We’re partnering with a well-established Mechanical & Electrical firm based in Hampshire that delivers specialist services across HVAC, facilities, and project-based installations.
As they continue to grow their portfolio of work, they’re now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. This is a field-based role with flexible working hours and opportunities to develop into commissioning or project management roles over time.
You’ll join a business that takes pride in its high standards of service, and where engineers are trusted to work independently, supported by a collaborative back-office and project delivery team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites
- Diagnose faults, conduct inspections, and deliver effective solutions on-site
- Ensure all works are completed in line with safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Attend the office when required for training, paperwork, or materials collection
Skills & Experience Required:
- F-Gas Cat 1 certified
- NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent industry-recognised qualification in HVAC)
- Demonstrated experience in a field-based HVAC or refrigeration role
- Excellent customer-facing skills and a professional approach on site
- Full UK driving licence required (maximum 6 points)
