Kioni Talent is partnering with a well‐established technology provider that supports financial services organisations with secure, scalable, and modern IT solutions. Their platform and services help clients modernise infrastructure, strengthen resilience, and accelerate digital transformation.
They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with a proven track record selling technology into financial services. Someone who can leverage existing relationships, build new ones, and grow a profitable book of business across major FS verticals.
You will join a high‐performing commercial team and play a key role in expanding their footprint across banking, insurance, hedge funds, and wider financial services markets.
What You’ll Do- Build, manage and grow relationships across financial services clients
- Identify, open and convert new business opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to closing
- Maintain and expand an existing book of business through upsell and cross‐sell
- Partner with technical and product teams to develop tailored solutions
- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
- Forecast accurately and deliver against quarterly revenue targets
- Drive new client acquisition in a high‐value market
- Influence commercial strategy for financial services accounts
- Help scale enterprise revenue through long‐term partnerships
- Bring sector knowledge and connections that shape how the company delivers value to FS clients
- Proven experience selling technology solutions (cloud, infrastructure, platforms, cybersecurity or similar)
- A track record of selling into financial services – banking, insurance, hedge funds, asset/wealth managers
- Existing relationships and networks in FS
- Demonstrable success managing and growing a book of business
- Experience delivering against revenue targets in a consultative B2B sales environment
- Strong relationship‐building and communication skills, across technical and non‐technical stakeholders
- A proactive commercial mindset and the drive to build and close new opportunities
