STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the World’s leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, warehouse and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit a Regional Key Accounts Manager covering areas from Leicester to Peterborough. The main focus of this role is to maximise our share of new and used truck opportunities by selling within this specified geographical area.
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused individual, with a proven successful sales and account management background. As Regional Key Accounts Manager, reporting to the National Territory Manager, you will be responsible for attaining the agreed individual and sales team targets by promoting and selling STILL equipment and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach, maximising sales profitability and growth within a designated territory.
STILL UK offers high quality in-house product training to allow experienced sales individuals to maximise their selling potential. We have an established leadership and support network in place to encourage individual and company success. Tasks and Qualifications:
- To achieve agreed annual target of selling new, used and materials handling equipment.
- To generate new leads and business development opportunities by researching sources for developing prospective customers.
- To manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
- To plan and manage a personal business portfolio for assigned territory according to the STILL market development strategy.
- To demonstrate STILL products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- To establish, develop and maintain customer relationships and to follow up once delivery of a truck has taken place.
- To be involved in continuous improvement of processes and procedures with other team members as requested.
- Regularly demonstrate company values of Integrity, Courage, Collaboration & Excellence.
Who are we looking for?
If you have experience of sales within the forklift or material handling sector, that would be an advantage but is not essential. We are looking for someone who can show previous success in sales, is self-motivated, and is happy to work in a role where they will be seeking new business and following up leads. If you have experience in sales but are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. You will need to be commercially minded, IT literate, and have excellent communication skills.
