Exciting career opportunity at Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. In this role, you will lead and manage all spare parts warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and distribution of parts to support exceptional customer service and business performance.

The role is accountable for delivering high levels of operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction through effective leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence, using data and performance metrics to provide business insights to proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support informed decision-making.

You will lead and implement change management activities across all warehouse operations, ensuring processes, systems, and ways of working evolve to meet business demands, improve productivity, and support strategic growth objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing high-performing teams, embedding best practices, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and fostering a continuous improvement mindset that delivers sustainable operational improvements and measurable business value.

Tasks and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience managing a warehouse, logistics, or spare parts operation
  • Strong people management experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes
  • Experience using SAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data to drive decisions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Experience within engineering, automotive, materials handling, or industrial equipment sectors

  • IOSH / NESOSH Managing Safely qualification
  • APICS, CILT or Supply Chain qualification
  • Experience in Automation or automated sortation systems
