About the Role
The QHSE Systems Manager role is to ensure ISO certification and legal compliance across KION ITS UK&I organisation. To establish, develop, implement and maintain business systems, policies and procedures. Working as part of an integrated team within the QHSE and wider UK and Ireland business operation.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Responsibilities include:
- Actively support the brand senior leadership teams to continuously improve IMS performance synergies to ensure an efficient, safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace
- Promptly escalate any issues with ISO system performance to the appropriate senior management and develop resolution action plans where required
- Share all significant findings and relevant activities in the pursuit of QHSE delivery and performance
- Ensure scheduled IMS internal audits are undertaken with respective senior leadership teams
- Actively and visibly guide and support company staff to develop and implement initiatives aimed to continuously improve IMS System performance, ensuring the overall scope of the IMS is consistent and appropriate for the business needs
- Advise the business around external stakeholder engagement (Accreditation/certification schemes, warrants, statutory reporting etc).
- Advise and guide the business around internal stakeholder requirements & resources
- Actively support both the analysis & effective close out of customer satisfaction monitoring
- Lead the development of internal IMS information systems such as - SaaS cloud-based software for all respective product brands.
- Monitor internal audit programme & regular scheduled visits to all relevant company remote sites and activities to ensure appropriate IMS expectations are understood and complied with
- Carry out IMS internal audits to a high standard with supporting evidence and recommended corrective actions
What We’re Looking For:
- Up to date knowledge of both existing and impending QHSE legislation and ISO standards with the ability to interpret, prioritise and leverage best practice
- NEBOSH National Certificate, preferably Diploma or working towards
- Professional membership of IOSH or equivalent
- ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 Audit experience (formal Internal / lead auditor qualification ideally)
- Experience in governance and internal audit activities with the aim to ensure compliance, identify best practice and implement continual improvement programs
- Skills to analyse root cause, identify trends and track corrective actions to completion
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact and build relationships at all organisational levels
- Demonstrable experience with continual improvement techniques
- Strong analytical and project management experience in relation to continual improvement projects
- Demonstrable QHSE experience within a service/manufacturing/logistics industry or other relevant environment
