Commissioning of customer specific WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MFS (Material Flow Systems) software for integrated and IT-standalone automated Intra-logistics systems and solutions. Further focus on Ramp Up Support, training activities, Service and After Go-Live Support of all supplied systems.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Main Job Objectives (Level 1, under supervision):
- On site execution and documentation of matflo WMS/WCS related test steps based on defined test cases and ad-hoc tests as a member of the project commissioning team.
- To record all the software commissioning test results into the proper modules attached to the commissioning test procedure (e.g., JIRA / Testrail).
- Qualification of correct / incorrect material flow system behaviour.
- Analysing of dedicated material flow scenarios in case of erroneous system behaviour.
- To support commissioning by generation and monitoring of throughput tasks to enhance system availability and stability.
- To provide support to site-wide system commissioning activities (Integration, Performance, Site Acceptance Testing) until acceptance by the end-user as well as Go-Live support.
- To advise the Project Manager / Tech. Project Lead of progress, challenges, and problems with completion of personal tasks and assigned work packages.
- Compile daily commissioning report data for summarising.
Advanced Responsibilities (Level 2):
- To train customers on installed applications use and trouble shooting.
- Provides training of SCE-1 resources on standard Dematic equipment commissioning.
- The SCE may be involved in developing and implementing corrective modification of software systems, projects, and equipment, including the setup and configuration of system hardware (PCs, hand scanners, label printers) or software with little direction from the project team.
- May act as lead for the SAE commissioning group on site, if multiple SAE engineers are assigned to a project.
- May coordinate system testing activities within the software group.
- Writes commissioning plans and test scripts from interface & design specifications.
General Responsibilities:
- To maintain Dematic’s image as a top quality, professional company, by adopting an honest, professional, and attentive approach.
- Deliver projects/tasks on time and within budget.
- Submit accurate and timely reports of travel expenses, hours worked, and commissioning activities.
- To adhere to Health and Safety standards including, but not limited to Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- To innovate ideas wherever possible to improve our delivered solution to the end customer (e.g., reduced price, reduced timescale, improved functionality).
- To maintain and improve upon personal skills related to the position, through experience and training.
- To comply with the company policy as defined in the Staff Handbook and Quality Assurance Manual.
- Other duties as required by Manager.
