The HR Business Lead will ensure the successful implementation of the people strategy based on business priorities across our functional areas and Regional Business Units. The role is responsible for ensuring the successful translation of strategy into actionable deliverables relating to day-to-day HR activity. The role will be a key partner in developing the people agenda, championing employee engagement initiatives, and acting as an advocate for the respective business area. Developing and implementing the associated people plan, initiatives and processes, whilst building and supporting high-performing teams. Ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders. Coaching managers to improve their impact as leaders, and enabling them to resolve complex employee cases.

- Provides the key interface across all areas of the people agenda within business areas, while collaborating alongside the HR specialist teams and ensuring close collaboration with HR Services.
- Be responsible for all Employee Relations case management processes for the respective regional teams.
- Advise and upskill people managers in HR-related matters in order to sustain good employee relations and provide coaching and expertise on absence, conduct, talent and performance matters.
- Ensure HR strategic projects are implemented, understood and embedded.
- Provides employee and business insights on people-related topics and define the appropriate people plans.
- Takes ownership for the respective headcount and people costs for the business area, providing data and insight to support the development of the HR budget and workforce planning.
- Leverages expertise and data insights across the HR specialist teams and drives to solve end-to-end problems.
- Drives diversity and inclusion, well-being and culture across the HR agenda of the business areas.
- Applying change management expertise to ensure that organisational changes are planned and implemented in a way that applies best practice.
- Analyse and advise on people metrics to prioritise areas of focus and use insights to improve our HR service and inform next steps.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the key business issues within assigned area, its strategies, ways of working and provide proactive support and advice on policies, practices and processes.
- Mediate and learn lessons from complex case management activities.
- Work with other HR teams to design, deliver and review services and projects that are part of the employee lifecycle and help continue to make KION a great place to work.
- Apply feedback, experience and knowledge of wider market changes to update and maintain people policies and processes to ensure that we can achieve HR and business goals and mitigate people-related risks.
- Support the business with activities relating to employee experience and engagement including action planning.

- Degree in HR/Business related or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills with the ability to form successful working relationships quickly and across all levels.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills and critical thinking with excellent learning agility.
- Adaptability with the confidence to share ideas and propose solutions to senior-level stakeholders.
- Experience of working within a sales/service or engineering environment.
- Strong experience of employee relations and employment law including trade unions.
- Continuous improvement mindset; experience in improving ways of working and processes.
- Good system knowledge β Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
- Ability to problem solve and take learning from every challenge.
