The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
As part of the KION ITS UK&IR Intralogistics team, the main purpose of this role is to develop and grow the sales & Service revenues of Intralogistics Solutions, specifically including AGVs and AMRs. This role will be home-based, with significant UK travel and will involve overnights away from home as required.
We offer:

- Identify opportunities to expand/extend business, exceptionally serving the client
- Work alongside the National key account and new business managers to help promote and develop the sales of AGVs & AMRs
- See tenders through to completion
- Strong cooperation with Automation Project Engineers
- Strong cooperation with Project Managers & Robotic Application Engineers to ensure optimisation of routes/right technical designed solution before the order and good handover after receiving the order
- Promote AGVs throughout your designated region
- Work with and understand the flow plan development tool
- Provide advice and expertise on Automation/Intralogistics to customers
- Visit customer sites, develop solutions, help to produce detailed proposals and then present the solution at all levels
- Meet challenging targets
- Produce return on investment calculations at both a detailed and overview level
- Have a good understanding of solution-based selling
- Comply with internal rules of submission to Leadership team before submission to end customer

- Internal Interfaces: Intralogistics Team, Service Team, UK&IR leadership Team, Sales Teams across the UK&IR at Linde & Still & Dematic, ITS KION Marketing team, ITS KION Training Team, ITS KION Business Operations: Procurement, ITS KION Business Operations: NBA, ITS KION Finance HQ in Germany
- External Interfaces: Customers, Suppliers, Industry experts
- Required functional competencies/experience/qualifications: Ideally with a good understanding of AGVs and solution-based selling, but support would be given to the right candidate
- Proven sales record ideally in sales development area
- Experience in managing large tenders
- Communication skills across all levels/influence skills
- An understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations
- Previous experience of creating and presenting both hard copy proposals and PowerPoint presentations
- Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g. Directors) and externally (e.g. customers)
- IT Literate β including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel
- Full driving licence
