We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Chesterfield patch area (S42, S43, S44, S45). Candidates should have experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians or vehicle technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance for a broad range of products, from small pallet trucks to counterbalance trucks, very narrow aisle trucks and automated trucks.
  • Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Use IT equipment to keep accurate records and place orders.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic engineering background.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence (required for Field and Resident Engineers).
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using IT equipment and maintaining electronic records.
