About Us: This is an exciting and brand-new opportunity to work alongside the Head of Maths. The successful candidate will be a qualified instructional coach, or be prepared to complete this training, to develop teaching, learning and pedagogy across the department and wider school.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop teaching, learning and pedagogy across the department and wider school.
  • Take responsibility for quality of teaching, learning and pedagogy across the department and wider school.
  • Ensure students have opportunities for and experiences of extra-curricular Maths activities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department, senior members of staff and members of the central team.
  • Accelerate improvement and raise standards in the subject area.
  • Support planning and teaching of high-quality lessons, improving outcomes, while ensuring students engage in extra-curricular activities.
  • Analyse performance data to ensure that students are appropriately supported to achieve their best possible outcomes.

Qualifications: Qualified instructional coach, or be prepared to complete this training.
