Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Supervising experience is essential, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of food production processes, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
  • Previous experience in menu planning and development is an advantage.
