KINTZING is a new world agency for photography and film. Working across artist management, image licensing, and global production, we help brands craft groundbreaking visual content. Our three offerings:
- Licensing: a premium, rights-managed image collection, with growing demand for exclusive use.
- Studio: commissioned photography and content production, from always-on brand content to large global campaigns.
- Represents: we represent some of the most sought-after image makers across stills and moving image.
The role
We're hiring a Business Development Manager for Kintzing UK to win new business across all three offerings. You'll sell Kintzing as one agency, not three separate products: spotting where a brand or agency needs licensed imagery, a commissioned shoot, the right photographer, or all three, and bringing the right part of the team in.
You'll work closely with the founder and the licensing, production and represents teams, with real ownership of the European new business pipeline from first contact to signed deal. The focus is Europe, with scope to open up newer markets such as Australia and Asia. Reporting to: Founder. Location: East London, hybrid.
What you'll do
- Build and manage a European new business pipeline across enterprise brands and creative, media and production agencies.
- Identify and research target accounts, including brands going through rebrands, campaign launches or changes in creative leadership.
- Open doors through outreach, your own network, events and referrals, and turn introductions into meetings.
- Chase and qualify leads quickly, and keep follow-up disciplined until a deal closes or is properly ruled out.
- Pitch the full Kintzing offer, matching each opportunity to Licensing, Studio, Represents or a combination.
- Work with producers and the licensing team on proposals, pricing and estimates, and help negotiate terms.
- Grow existing relationships into repeat and multi-offering work.
- Keep the CRM accurate and report on pipeline, conversion and revenue against targets.
- Feed back what you hear in the market to shape our collection, roster and positioning.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in a business development or new business role, selling creative services or content to brands and agencies.
- An active network across enterprise brand teams (brand, marketing, creative, content) and agencies (creative directors, art buyers, producers).
- A track record of finding, opening and closing new accounts yourself, not only managing inbound.
- Real appreciation for the creative world, with the taste to talk credibly about photography, art direction and craft.
- Comfort selling several services at once and spotting which one fits the client.
- Organised, persistent follow-up and confident use of a CRM.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and the confidence to pitch to senior marketers.
Nice to have
- Experience in imagery: stock or rights-managed licensing, photography production, or artist representation.
- Knowledge of usage rights, licensing terms and exclusivity.
- Relationships with big tech, fintech, financial services or healthcare brands.
- Experience selling across European markets, or into Australia or Asia.
Level and package
We see this as a mid-level role and have built the package around that: a competitive base salary, depending on experience, plus commission on new business.
- If you're more senior and already hold strong relationships across the brands and agencies we work with, we'd still like to hear from you, and the title and package are flexible for the right person. Tell us about your network and what you'd bring in your first year.
