A bit about the Department: Our Operations Department is responsible for making sure our customers have a great experience using their vehicles.
What you’ll be doing:
- Covering Key Areas in our busy Operations Department
- Learning a variety of tasks across the various teams in the department
- Working in an agile, flexible manner as needed.
There isn’t an ordinary day as an Operations Associate. You could be processing fines in our admin team one day, and then taking maintenance bookings over the phone the next. You’ll need to be flexible and able to learn a broad variety of tasks. These will include:
- Fleet Admin – processing fines, post room duties.
- Maintenance Booking Support – taking bookings over the phone and via emails and an online portal.
- Remarketing – arranging collections of vehicles at end of contract, processing driver sales
- Downtime Management – Proactive chasing of vehicles off the road for mechanical repair.
- Incident Management – taking incident reports over the phone, proactive chasing of vehicles off the road for bodywork repair
How could you stretch this role:
- Learning tasks above and beyond the basic roles within the department to support more advanced areas.
- Proactively monitoring areas that need support
- Gaining further knowledge of our business and of the fleet industry in order to improve our service and processes
- Using TPS Kaizen methodology to improve our processes
- In the future, this role will provide a great knowledge base to become a subject matter expert across our department.

Key Experience & Skills:
- Experience of both administrative and contact centre work
- Ability to quickly switch between tasks where required, but also to engage with one task over a longer period if this is necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to perform high volume tasks at speed with minimal errors once trained.
