Overview
The Deliveries Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Deliveries Team to achieve our delivery target in-line with the company Hoshin and provide exceptional customer service.
A bit about the Department
The Deliveries Team Leader is a vital part of the Commercial Operations Department, playing a key role in the growth and success of KINTO's leasing products. The Deliveries Team provides a vehicle delivery booking service to drivers and fleet contacts ensuring the highest standards of service. As a department, we collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including dealers, brokers, and various internal departments, to drive seamless operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of vehicles for our varied client base from our dealer network in accordance with our business Hoshin targets.
- You will arrange the delivery directly with the Client and follow the progress of the delivery through the successful completion, keeping the Client updated throughout the process.
- You will build technically strong, highly engaged and energised colleagues.
- Facilitate vehicle advice, delivering class leading analysis & reports in a professional & innovative way and lead the efficient operational day-to-day performance of the Deliveries team.
- Build strong relationships with other departments within KINTO, as well as within the customer base, vehicle manufacturers and vehicle dealers, focusing on delivering to our service level agreements.
- Attend Dealership Reviews with our Preferred Network alongside the Purchasing Manager to review and manage performance.
- Manage the vehicle demonstrator function to ensure customers are receiving prompt and good customer service from both KINTO and the supplier.
- Investigate, take ownership and resolve customer complaints to a full resolution in line with complaints procedures and company policy.
How you could stretch this role
- Identify and propose solutions to improve the delivery process for our customers including forward thinking with Miles Integration.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain process flows and work instructions for activities to remove errors, improve efficiency, enhance service and reduce costs.
- Take ownership of the relationship with MoDel (vehicle delivery platform) to ensure KPI’s are met as per the supplier terms and conditions.
- Seek out opportunities to improve the TPS journey within the Commercial Operations department.
Experience you’ll gain
