We are Kintiga, a pan-European specialist that partners with ambitious health technology developers through the complex journey to achieve successful patient access across Europe, with our tailored approach, global perspective and local expertise.
We are looking for a Senior HTA Consultant, on a 12-month fixed term contract, to help lead and manage projects focused on market access, value communications, and evidence generation for healthcare products, working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences clients. The role involves both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, acting as a key point of contact for clients and assist in delivering high-quality, client-ready materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main client point of contact, managing accounts and overseeing the delivery of HTA and market access projects.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of HTA submissions, value dossiers, and related deliverables for the UK (e.g., NICE, SMC and NCPE submissions).
- Write, review, and finalize HTA dossiers, briefing books, global value dossiers, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Advise and ensure the Market access and HEOR activities are aligned with the end-to-end market access strategy.
- Provide strategic and/or technical input into outcome study designs, real world evidence (RWE) collection, economic models, etc).
- Quality assurance of HTA projects (provide clarity to the cross-functional team).
- Mentor, lead, and line-manage junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring efficient project delivery.
- Lead and review the development of proposals.
- Development of evidence-generation strategies, including, literature reviews, economic data analysis and value proposition.
- An excellent understanding of the local and global payer environment, including coverage, reimbursement and pricing.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Education to degree level in BSc/MSc or PhD in a life sciences or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Market Access, HTA, or HEOR.
- Experience across multiple HTA and Market Access project types and diseases areas, or deep expertise in a specific discipline/therapeutic areas.
- In-depth knowledge of evidence generation methods, strategies and tools including, but not limited to health economics, cost-effectiveness/budget impact models, real-world evidence studies, peer-reviewed publications.
- Proven ability to manage a HTA from start to finish.
- Experience with NICE dossiers is highly desirable.
- Proven ability for strategic thinking and working across the business to define, generate and deliver company strategy.
- Previous consultancy experience.
