About the Project
This role supports the FEED phase of a major offshore subsea gas pipeline project that will tie into a greenfield onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) designed for 450 MMscfd of gas and 38,000 barrels per day of condensate. The successful candidate will oversee SPS scope execution, ensuring cost-effective, on-time delivery while coordinating closely with multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, engineering, and execution of Subsea Production Systems (SPS), ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure quality control throughout Concept, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Qualification, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, and Pre-Commissioning phases.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to SPS activities.
- Review and approve engineering documents, prioritising critical deliverables.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate SPS components seamlessly.
- Conduct technical assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Ensure mechanical and functional compatibility across the entire SPS system.
- Align SPS equipment design with SURF Contractor installation requirements.
- Support system-level activities, including PFDs, schematics, block diagrams, and field layouts.
- Production assurance & flow assurance.
- Reliability & availability modelling.
- Testing & commissioning strategies.
Technical & Experience Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Subsea, Mechanical, or Drilling Engineering (or equivalent).
- 15+ years of experience in offshore subsea engineering projects.
- Expertise in Subsea Wells, Subsea Systems, Subsea Engineering, or Project Engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of Subsea Tree & Wellhead systems (design, drilling, completion, cleanup).
- Experience with driverless connection systems (horizontal & vertical).
- Familiarity with ROV marine operations.
- Past Caspian Sea project experience is a plus.
- Experience with TotalEnergies projects is a strong advantage.
- FEED and CFT experience is highly desirable.
- Vertical XT experience preferred.
