Responsibilities
- Provide functional support and evolution across SAP environments, covering Finance, Contract & Procurement, and future business processes (e.g., Maintenance Inspection).
- Deliver direct technical and functional support to the SAP Lead and Key Users (problem solving, concept clarification, configuration adjustments, needs assessment).
- Act as the affiliate SAP focal point and coordinate with HQ to implement functional upgrades and version changes, in line with E&P Branch IT architecture.
- Identify end-user training needs.
- Perform periodic functional tests as defined by HQ; raise assistance/evolution/correction tickets on behalf of the affiliate and coordinate with HQ teams.
- Liaise on testing and ticketing for new functionalities and changes, ensure alignment with business needs, and supervise production implementation.
- Follow up on support tickets and escape when necessary.
- Train an identified national resource on the job to become the long-term SAP coordinator.
- Create and remove SAP users; maintain local accounts, business roles, and technical roles.
- Implement mitigation plans in line with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) requirements.
- Validate and control access assignments in compliance with internal control rules (e.g., segregation of duties) and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Be responsible for SOX IT affiliate controls, ensuring compliance with SOX methodology and internal control rules, and mitigating non-compliance risks.
- Produce monthly and quarterly GRC/KPI reporting to HQ.
Location & Travel
The consultant will be located in Pau, where the E&P Finance BPO is located. The BPO will organize onboarding and provide necessary training or resources for the person in charge to perform the mission successfully. Regular travel to Namibia (TotalEnergies EP Namibia offices) is expected at least once a month. All travel expenditures will be covered by the affiliate but capped.
