- Purpose of the Position
Responsible for reviewing, validating, correcting, and coordinating Material Master data updates to ensure high-quality technical master data within the ERP system.
The role supports procurement, maintenance, and operational efficiency by ensuring accurate and complete technical information for materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review affiliate Material Master descriptions within Electrical discipline.
- Identify and verify VDM and other relevant technical information individually.
- Analyze and validate technical specifications and equipment data.
- Correct and improve Master Data quality and consistency.
- Ensure correct classification, descriptions, and technical attributes.
- Coordinate required corrections with relevant stakeholders.
- Receive and track approvals for Master Data corrections and changes with technical duets.
- Submit finalized updates for implementation in the system.
- Follow up on update status and ensure completion.
- Maintain documentation and traceability of changes performed.
- Background / Qualification / Experience
Educational Background
Technical assistant, or similar technical education.
Experience
- Experience within technical services, maintenance, procurement, or master data management.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, spare parts, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with ERP (e. g. SAP) or other maintenance systems is an advantage.
- Technical Competencies
- Understanding of Material Master data structures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Familiarity with VDM and technical classification systems.
