Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design for high‑profile and technically challenging projects.
  • Review and approve structural calculations and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with UK design codes and industry best practices.
  • Support project delivery and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8–15 years of experience in structural design.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working toward it.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving and leadership skills.
  • Experience with high‑rise or large‑scale infrastructure projects (preferred).
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows (preferred).
