Key Responsibilities
- Complete planned and corrective instrumentation and electrical work orders, prioritising by criticality
- Record all activities accurately within the site CMMS
- Carry out CompEx inspections and complete associated first line repairs
- Complete instrumentation and electrical activities during the annual site shutdown
- Calibrate instrumentation including As Found and As Left records across a range of measurement technologies
- Perform functional testing of ESD, control, level, and pressure systems including closure time recording
- Conduct fire and gas system testing across a range of detection technologies
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free working environment
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years maintenance experience on instrumentation and electrical equipment
- Instrumentation qualification such as apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, with solid electrical knowledge
- In-date CompEx 01 to 04 certification and working knowledge of IEC 60079
- Experience in instrumentation calibration and functional testing of safety systems
- Good working knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and earthing systems
- Previous experience working in hazardous areas within industrial or energy environments
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and comfortable recording work activities digitally
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
