The role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and driving all maintenance activities including predictive/preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, modification projects, and facility maintenance across multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation). The position ensures optimal utilisation of resources and the safe, smooth, cost-effective, and timely execution of maintenance activities. The role also provides leadership, organisation, and technical direction for maintenance operations, continuous improvements, and technical documentation. The incumbent leads the maintenance team to deliver high plant reliability while ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong EHS culture, ensuring compliance with corporate EHS policies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team to deliver optimised maintenance planning and high-performance operations aligned with plant strategy.
- Identify skill gaps and drive competency development plans for maintenance personnel.
- Plan, schedule, and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs, including Mechanical Integrity activities, in a cost-effective manner without compromising safety or quality.
- Drive plant reliability by analysing corrective maintenance data and improving predictive/preventive programs using tools such as RCA, RCM, RBM, FMEA, and inspection techniques (e.g. oil analysis, NDT).
- Plan and execute facility-related maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure maintenance records (equipment history, fault reports, etc.) are accurately maintained within SAP and other relevant systems.
