This is a high-impact role where your deep technical knowledge will shape engineering standards, influence regulatory frameworks, and drive innovation across our gas distribution network.
You’ll provide strategic engineering insight, ensure compliance with statutory and company standards, and mentor the next generation of engineers. From supporting asset risk assessments to leading external relationships with regulators and industry bodies, your work will underpin the safety, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure.
What you will bring:
- HNC / HND
- Expertise in C&I Systems – Deep understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA in hazardous environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge – Strong grasp of EAWR, DSEAR, EPS and other relevant regulations.
- Engineering Judgement – Skilled in interpreting complex technical data, drawings, and standards to make sound decisions.
- Leadership & Communication – Proven ability to influence, mentor and manage across technical and stakeholder groups.
- Continuous Improvement – Track record of identifying and implementing improvements to engineering processes and standards.
Candidate must hold UK driving license and be eligible to work in the UK.
