Senior Piping Material Engineer – Energy Projects

We are recruiting for a Senior Piping Material Engineer to join an established engineering and technology firm delivering projects in the energy and chemicals sector. The company is active in new energy developments including hydrogen and carbon capture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop piping material and class specifications for Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC phases
- Manage piping material take-offs and bill of quantities
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (ASME, BS, NACE)
- Perform pipe wall thickness calculations and determine flange ratings
- Develop valve datasheets and technical piping specifications
- Produce piping material requisitions and conduct technical bid evaluations
- Assist with material selection diagrams and documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Significant experience with onshore piping materials in petrochemical projects
- Previous experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC roles
- Proven ability to develop and deliver material specifications
