Are you an experienced Instrument Engineer looking to elevate your career? We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Instrument Engineer to join a leading UK-based company in Hampshire, involved in cutting-edge projects in the Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) sectors.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Pension + Comprehensive Training & Career Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design, maintenance, and optimization of process control and safety systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Department to review, plan, and execute tasks that reduce the project backlog.
  • Identify areas for plant enhancements and create detailed project scopes and timelines.
  • Lead the design and integration of new safety systems as part of key capital projects.
  • Take ownership of the specification, testing, and commissioning of SIS and control system upgrades.
  • Deliver critical documentation such as SIL verification calculations, SIL reports, and Safety Requirement Specifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Solid experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of operational processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering practices.
