If you are an Electrical Engineer with experience delivering projects in regulated or heavy industrial environments, this is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team working across major infrastructure and operational projects. This role offers a mix of technical delivery, multidisciplinary coordination, and long-term project exposure across sectors including oil and gas, rail, industrial, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering electrical engineering design across industrial and infrastructure projects
  • Supporting major high voltage infrastructure projects
  • Producing and reviewing technical specifications, calculations, and design deliverables
  • Supporting FEED, detailed design, and project execution activities
  • Working on power distribution, substations, MCCs, and associated electrical systems
  • Supporting design reviews, technical assurance, and risk assessments
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers
  • Supporting commissioning, installation, and construction activities
  • Mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development

Requirements

  • Previous experience in electrical design up to 132 kV
  • Experience within oil and gas, rail, industrial, or infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering design and project delivery
  • Experience with LV/HV systems, substations, MCCs, or industrial power systems
  • Familiar with UK engineering standards and regulated environments
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects and contractors
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Practical, delivery-focused mindset
