Lead Electrical Engineer with a six-figure salary plus fantastic benefits in the Oil & Gas sector, based in London. This company has more than £220 billion investment in projects and upgrades this year and is planning to double in size.
We are recruiting for 3 Lead Electrical Engineers with site/plant/operations hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Energy assets.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist electrical engineering advice and recommendations to the Process and Maintenance Departments on day-to-day matters, ensuring electrical supply meets demand, addressing equipment failures, conducting investigations, developing equipment strategies, and implementing reliability improvements.
- Providing professional electrical engineering support for projects, including the preparation of screening studies, design bases, and specifications for specialist projects.
- Offering professional electrical engineering support and recommendations to management on electrical safety, infrastructure, and technology issues.
- Troubleshooting and fault finding.
About you:
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold an engineering degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent subject.
- Have relevant electrical engineering experience in an operational environment at a COMAH facility, power plant, or similar. Candidates with EPC design experience will be considered as long as they have had operational/field/site experience and would like to work on the client side.
This role is 5 days on site and will sponsor candidates with petrochemical/refinery experience (minimum 10 years).
