An opportunity for a Senior Authorised Person with strong HV network experience to step into a project management role, leading delivery on major connections work for a growing distribution network operator. This role sits within the engineering function and combines SAP-level authority over HV network safety and switching with hands-on project management of large-scale connections schemes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Project managing large-scale connections schemes
- Holding SAP authority for HV switching, safety documentation, and network control
- Acting as primary point of contact for on-site engineers delivering HV network works
- Developing scoping documentation and protection diagrams
- Reviewing detailed designs including SLDs and AC/DC schematics
- Managing contracts and assigning appropriate work skills to enable delivery
- Undertaking engineering studies, O&Ms, and technical specifications
- Site witnessing through to commissioning
- Investigating and reporting on defects and mis-operations
