Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development, review, and enhancement of process designs for naphtha reforming units.
- Optimize catalyst usage and reforming processes to improve performance, yield, and product quality.
- Provide hands-on technical support to operating sites, including diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
- Collaborate with licensors and vendors to assess and integrate new technologies.
- Perform process simulations to identify operational improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, papers, and presentations on reforming advancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge transfer and skills development.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical operations, with emphasis on reforming technologies.
- At least 5 years of direct experience with Continuous Catalytic Reforming (CCR) systems.
- Exposure to multiple operating environments and leading process licensors (e.g., UOP, Axens).
- Proven innovation record, including contributions to intellectual property or patents in reforming.
- Skilled in process modeling software (e.g., HYSYS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in troubleshooting reforming operations.
