What you will do:

  • A good level of computer literacy with an aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Ability to interpret and work from vendor manuals, drawings and P&IDs.
  • Fault finding, repair and preventative maintenance of a broad variety of instrumentation.
  • An ability to write, review and follow detailed procedures.
  • Work experience on electrical equipment in hazardous areas.

About you:

  • A good general education to at least GCSE level. 5 GCSEs should be of grades A-C and must include English, Maths and Science.
  • Maintenance experience on at least some of the following:
  • distributed control systems
  • good knowledge of process measuring instrumentation (temp, pressure, level, flow)
  • pneumatic and electronic d.p. cells / controllers / switches
  • pneumatic and electronic relay logic
  • pneumatic and electronic valve positioners
  • hydraulic control systems
  • Following online and offline test procedures.
