Director of Permanent Recruitment (UK, Europe & Africa)

Operator – E&P – Mechanical engineer Optimisation / Maintenance

This is a great opportunity to work for a company that is growing rapidly in the energy industry

  • Contribute to the delivery of mechanical asset optimisation projects across EIS (including planned and un‑planned outage support)
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management and maintenance strategies, policies and procedures to enable the Business Units (BUs) to achieve measurable improvements in Asset performance and legal compliance over the entire asset life‑cycle based on a thorough understanding of PSSR and relevant standards including SAFed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the maintenance strategy for mechanical assets that meets the requirements of the business over the short, medium and long term
  • Provide expert input into the continuous development and maintenance of EIS‑wide mechanical asset strategic spares holding strategy, stock management and long‑term procurement plan.
  • Support with technical input to mechanical and boiler maintenance contract negotiations and subsequent contractor performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of cooperation and collaboration across and with EIS O&M teams.
  • Foster a Process Safety culture across EIS.
  • Significant experience in boiler and auxiliary plant (within a power and/or heat generation sector).
  • Have skills and knowledge that enable the role holder to act as a consultant on Mechanical Engineering across EIS.
  • Knowledge of District Heating Networks
  • Experience with Heat Pumps (Industrial/Commercial Grade)
