Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules as defined by the site maintenance plans;
- Complete the Planned Maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans;
- Day to day core role duties include breakdown and preventative activities
- Working with permit signatories daily to discuss and prepare permit requests, method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintenance of HV distribution and rotating equipment and associated control systems.
- Authorised to write safety documents to work on the site HV system.
- Safe isolation of electrical systems.
- Maintenance of LV rotating equipment and associated control systems
- Maintenance of hazardous area equipment.
- Solutions within a specified timescale whilst minimising costs.
Qualification:
- Experience of working a continuous process/production environments
- NVQ / Apprenticeship in Electrical or Instrument
- Fault finding, route cause analysis, problem solving, first line defect repair and data monitoring.
- Following procedures, systems & processes and meeting targets.
- Makes practical recommendations to continually improve operations.
- Safe System of Work processes & procedures: Permit to work: risk assessments & method statements.
