We are looking for a Sub-Project Manager - Relocation & Logistics with strong expertise in managing large-scale office relocations and logistics projects. This role involves practical and administrative tasks and requires a proactive, results‑driven professional with excellent relationship management and communication skills. A holistic approach and the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions are essential. You should be able to understand and manage project and organisational interdependencies while promoting consistent methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational responsibility for sub‑project schedule, budget, and outcomes.
- Plan, track, and report project progress to the main project manager.
- Collaborate with other sub‑project managers, stakeholders, and relocation ambassadors.
- Manage project risks according to internal routines.
- Review lease agreements and current unit locations; coordinate the overall relocation.
- Oversee inventory planning for furniture, lighting, AV, and IT equipment (move, reuse, sell decisions).
- Develop logistics plans for transport, elevator capacities, and both current and new facilities.
- Prepare procurement documentation and support bid evaluations for moving and logistics services.
- Prioritise and make decisions to drive orders, deliveries, and installations.
- Coordinate all communications regarding relocation to employees in collaboration with the Communication sub‑project manager.
- Plan and allocate resources for deliveries, installations, and moving activities.
- Oversee goods receipt until operational management is in place at the new head office.
- Participate in weekly project meetings and report on sub‑project status.
- Continuously update status in the designated project management tool.
- Compile final report summarising outcomes for the Relocation & Logistics sub‑project.
- Manage the handover to operations.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in sub‑project management, preferably within relocation and logistics.
- Proficient in Swedish.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage practical and administrative aspects of complex office relocation.
- Experience preparing procurement documentation and supporting bid evaluation.
- Skilled in resource and risk management within project frameworks.
- Proficient in project management tools and reporting.
