Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a London-based team. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for oil & gas projects
- Conduct load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination
- Develop technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with UK and international electrical codes and safety regulations
- Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up of facilities
- Prepare reports, technical documentation, and project progress updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil & gas industry
- Knowledge of UK electrical standards (BS, IEC) and oil & gas regulations
- Experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, motors, transformers, and control systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software
