Location: Farnborough / Basingstoke
Design – Design experience (>2 years) either in instrumentation (preferred) & control, utilising basic engineering drawings relating to the C&I discipline.
Hazardous Areas – Design of electrical equipment installed within hazardous areas, certified CompEx 12A & 12B or demonstrable experience of following the same processes without the certification.
Functional Safety – Design of safety instrumented systems & safety instrumented functions, SIL verification calculations, certified TUV or demonstrable experience of following the same processes without the certification.
Engineering life cycle – Directly involved in or some combination of front end design, EPC, installation & commissioning.
Control Systems – Programming or good understanding of at least two of the five programming languages per standards and how they are applied in industry.
Risk management – HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, Permit to Work, RAMS.
Contractor management – Work specifications, developing & agreeing contracts, supervising.
Procurement – Specifying equipment (data sheets), raising orders, chasing suppliers, reviewing QA documentation.
Operations & Maintenance support – troubleshooting & field support (advantage but not essential).
