Oil & Gas Operator
Fantastic Salary plus car allowance £5k or electric car, generous bonus, overtime, pension, holidays.
Home based with travel to depot in Hull, Lincolnshire, Manchester, Warrington, Birmingham, Hinkley. Monday - Friday 9 - 5pm. Overtime available.

The purpose of this job is to:
- Provide discipline technical expertise to operational and delivery teams.
- Ensure new assets or modifications to existing assets are in compliance with the company’s standards.
- Develop discipline internal engineering standards, procedures, best practice and strategies.
- Influence external standards to align with the company’s forward agenda.
- Provide engineering knowledge to support key recommendations relating to strategic engineering decision making.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance is proactively met.
- Assess asset risks and the effectiveness of controls and mitigations.
- Guide developing engineers, providing technical mentoring and management.
Within the control and instrumentation specialism:
- Provide a comprehensive knowledge and support for meeting statutory and regulatory obligations (notably Electricity at Work, Dangerous Substances & Explosive Atmospheres, Equipment & Protective Systems).
- Lead in influencing and shaping the statutory, regulatory and company standards framework with respect to engineering and ensure all required statutory documents are in place.
- Provide advice and sign off on risk assessments and hazard mitigations plans for discipline, including LOPA and SIL.
- Participate in incident investigations as required. Ensure that the learning from incident reviews and investigations are communicated with action plans delivered.
Design Degree or HNC HND. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
