Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Civil Engineers, Designers, and Technicians
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
- Manage team workload, resource planning, and project priorities
- Provide technical leadership across water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Support outline and detailed design activities
- Review engineering deliverables and maintain quality standards
- Collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Support recruitment, capability growth, and team development initiatives
Requirements
- Strong civil engineering experience within the UK regulated water sector
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing engineering capability
- Background delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects
- Thorough understanding of outline and detailed design processes
- Commercial awareness and project delivery experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership preferred
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
