Head of Supply Chain - Oil & Gas Location: Gabon (Residential) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Over $100k Tax-free salary + accommodation + flights + school + medical Key Responsibilities Own and deliver an integrated supply chain strategy aligned to operational priorities. Lead teams across contracts and procurement, logistics, materials management, customs and transit, and real estate/business services. Ensure safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply chain delivery across operational sites. Manage complex local, multi-site, and international contracts and supplier relationships. Drive improvements in safety, service quality, supplier performance, and cost efficiency. Oversee planning and control of logistics, inventory, warehousing, and customs activities. Manage offices, residential properties, employee accommodation, and workplace services. Promote local content by developing sustainable relationships with in-country suppliers. Provide visible HSSE leadership across contractors and the wider supply base. Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance across procurement and supplier management. Requirements 18+ years' management experience in supply chain or a closely related operational environment. Substantial end-to-end supply chain leadership in an asset-intensive, safety-critical industry, ideally oil and gas. Strong knowledge across contracts and procurement, logistics, materials management, customs and transit, and corporate real estate. Solid commercial capability across contracting, tendering, negotiation, and supplier management. Experience managing complex contracts and multidisciplinary, multi-site teams. Strong financial and analytical capability, including budgeting and cost control. Comfortable working in a French-speaking, multicultural, multilingual environment preferred.
