Role Overview
This is a hands-on technical role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Health: Assess and report on the condition of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) equipment and systems.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability, including electrical maintenance and instrument calibration.
- Timely Delivery: Complete work efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.
- Contractor Oversight: Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards.
Requirements
You are a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems, or a skilled electrician wanting to progress and develop further skills in instrumentation systems. You also have a commitment to safety and quality.
Experience: Proven experience in an Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing of systems on gas pressure reduction sites.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with E&I technical standards, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
Legislation Awareness: Understanding of BS7671, EAWR, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3.
Eligibility: Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid driving license.
