We’re working with a leading global manufacturing organisation in the chemical industry, currently seeking two skilled Electrical Technicians to join their Manchester-based facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following safety standards and contributing to related initiatives.
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across a variety of plant equipment and systems.
- Diagnose faults and identify root causes of electrical failures; implement reliable solutions.
- Ensure plant equipment meets operational, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment and maintenance records.
- Log maintenance activity using SAP and comply with all related work processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.
- Undertake additional tasks related to site maintenance as required.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- HNC/HND is desirable.
- At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in heavy industrial sectors such as chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or paper manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SAP systems (basic navigation) is advantageous.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
