We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at a busy production site in Doncaster.
This is a permanent position working on a 2 Days / 2 Nights 4 off repeat 3 week then off 12 days off, offering stability, excellent earning potential, and clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the production site
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and checks to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations
- Support with troubleshooting and testing of PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, and electronic drives
- Accurately interpret and work from electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to address issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, issues found, and parts used
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, conduct motor testing, and work with control circuits
- Good knowledge of PLC fault finding (repairs not essential)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
