Electrical Engineer - CCGT
Location: London / Remote
Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Sector: Power Generation - CCGT
Duration: Approximately 9 months (mix of full-time and part-time)
Key Responsibilities
- Review single line diagrams (SLDs), generators, transformers, and switchgear
- Check electrical studies and protection systems
- Review auxiliary and emergency power systems
- Evaluate electrical equipment bids from technology vendors
- Report findings and recommendations to the client
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience on large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+)
- Around 15 years' engineering experience, ideally in power generation
- Strong background in power plant electrical systems
- Proven experience in design review
- Ability to attend occasional meetings in London
