Are you an experienced Electrical Designer seeking technical ownership on major infrastructure projects?
Join a leading engineering consultancy with a robust, growing project pipeline, ensuring long-term stability and genuine career growth across oil and gas, nuclear, water, and power sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Produce electrical design deliverables, such as single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts.
Develop supporting documentation, including bills of materials and design packs.
Lead designer responsibilities across various projects and proposals.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers.
Review and check designs to ensure quality and compliance.
Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions.
Ensure all designs are safe, practical, and fit for purpose.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Designer in infrastructure or industrial projects.
Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling tools.
Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and legislation.
Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
Professional accreditation or working towards it is desirable.
