Role
Maintenance Manager – Oil&Gas / Chemical / Refinery / LNG LPG Paper Manufacturing COMAH
- Manage the maintenance department and associated activities of the production facilities. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant statutory legislation and regulations, and achieve target plant performance within established safety and operational constraints.
Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for planning, scheduling, and executing routine, non-routine, and breakdown maintenance to ensure service intervals are met and equipment downtime is minimised.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring that all planned activities are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Manage the performance of the maintenance team, including compiling monthly management reports on maintenance activities and highlighting progress against planned inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, reports, and certificates in full compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all maintenance schedules and statutory inspections are completed as per the planned programme.
- Manage and coordinate all necessary activities to ensure plant integrity is consistently maintained and operational reliability is maximised.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify improvement areas and manage development plans.
- Solid knowledge of the Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery / Manufacturing industry or similar industries, its operational characteristics, and safe working practices.
- The ideal candidate will have Electrical or Instrument Qualifications
