Job Title: FOU Client Representative – Medior Secondary Steel
Location: Grimsby, UK
Client: Leading Global Green Energy Major – Wind
Start date: 9 th March 2026
End date: 31 st March 2027 (Possibility of Extension)
Work Schedule: 14×14 rotation – 12 hours per day
IR35 Determination: Inside IR35
Objective
- Ensure the offshore foundation installation work is executed in accordance with:
- Approved Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS)
- Any approved Management of Change (MoC) issued during the project
- Project quality, safety (QHSE), and schedule requirements
- Provide clear and consistent daily progress reporting and ensure a timely escalation of issues. Act, behave and lead by example according to Client\’s values
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Oversight: Review and understand RAMS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- Ensure that the contractor is working according to the approved RAMS and any approved MoC. Verify proper implementation of safety protocols and risk mitigation (including attending safety walks, heavy lift meetings or any last-minute risk assessments).
- Daily Progress Reporting: Track the progress of the installation and vessel activities. Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required in the Client DPR. Review and ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
- Coordination: Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the work is being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality
- Act as the point of contact between the client, contractors, and stakeholders, including when 3 rd party representatives are involved in the operation i.e. MWS. Communicate issues and assist in timely resolution.
- QHSE Oversight: Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from Client and Contractor organizations. Keep track of the submitted incident reports and potentially review outcomes content of indecent reports
- Quality Assurance: Monitor compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements ensure that the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality. Conduct on-site inspections, document any quality issues, and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records (logs, incidents, deviations) and submit required reports promptly. Review and (if applicable) sign off on as-built reports of the MP installation. Synergi reporting (if applicable) as supervised by the specific package and project from incidents
- Timesheets: Check and signing of daily/weekly/monthly timesheets for Employers contractors\’ personnel (other than Main Installation Contractor\’s personnel).
Decision authority / Responsibility
The Client Rep. will conduct visual inspection of the offshore Work in progress and monitor that it is carried out as per approved RAMS. The Client Rep. has no contractual authority, except for the authority to intervene or stop the operation in case of safety, quality infringements or the procedures not being followed by the Contractor

Qualifications
- Offshore wind experience (foundation installation focus)
- Knowledge of RAMS, offshore QHSE, and installation best practices
Required QHSE and offshore certifications:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid (EFA), Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- Medical certificate including Chester Step test
- HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS)
- Chester step test
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training
Recommended certificates and experience:
- Previous experience from client offshore installation scopes
- Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet); Client DPR and Synergi
Reporting Line
- Reports to the Offshore Foundation Installation Manager.
- Collaborates with the Client offshore installation team, Engineering, QHSE, and Technical Quality Team.
