Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical authority in mechanical engineering to projects, drawing on your extensive experience from design consultancy, manufacturing, or operational site engineering.
  • Join and lead multidiscipline project teams, guiding other mechanical engineers and designers while coordinating with piping, structural, and civil engineering specialists.
  • Take responsibility for the successful outcome of assigned projects.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge in the technologies of various business sectors.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, attend client works, and build professional relationships.
  • Deliver mechanical engineering work packages to contracted specifications.
  • Suggest, justify, and implement improvements and creative solutions for technical problems.
  • Consult with other engineers and experts regarding unusual or complex challenges.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree.
  • Working towards or have Chartered Membership of a recognised institution.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Aptitude for understanding new processes and technologies, and applying engineering knowledge.
  • Analytical ability with keen attention to detail; strong problem identification, assessment, and solving skills.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, or Biotechnology sectors.
  • Proven experience in leading teams of engineers and designers.
  • Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
