Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure goods, materials, and services in line with business requirements.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Partner with operational sites to manage stock levels and demand.
  • Lead RFx activities, negotiations, supplier evaluation, and contract award processes.
  • Support supplier consolidation and regional tendering initiatives.
  • Review inventory practices and establish minimum and critical stock levels.
  • Act as a procurement partner to site teams, including regular on-site engagement.
  • Enhance contract compliance and reduce off-contract spend.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage commercial relationships.
  • Track and report on savings, spend under management, and procurement KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years' experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience in sectors such as waste, recycling, utilities, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver cost savings.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working across multi-site, decentralised operations.
  • Excellent analytical capability with an interest in data-driven procurement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or GenAI tools beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; CIPS/NEVI desirable.
