The role is for an experienced Cloud Architect to define, monitor and manage tenant installations for our enterprise SaaS solution, hosted in Azure. You will also contribute to the design and architecture of our solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services and architecture. The role includes responsibility for ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and maintenance of customer environments while collaborating
with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Our customers are large-scale engineering and process manufacturers. The Cloud Architect works with our product development and product management teams focusing on analyzing data relationships and resource consumption. Our solution makes extensive use of AI Machine Learning, Cognitive services and LLM models, as well as Kubernetes and serverless technologies. This role will is also involved in the optimization and configuration of various aspects of AI Agents in the solution.

Customer Installations:
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of customer Azure environments.
• Ensure that deployments meet customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tenant-related issues.
Design and Architecture:
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer use cases.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure-based solutions.
• Develop architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance solution offerings.
Security and Compliance:
• Implement security best practices for cloud architecture, including identity management and access
controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
Automation and Optimization:
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployments and operations (e.g., using Azure Resource
Manager templates, PowerShell).
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
of cloud solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure features, updates, and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on Azure technologies and methodologies.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to:
• Compute (Kubernetes, Azure Functions)
• Storage (Blob, Queue, File Storage)
• Networking (Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, Azure DNS)
• Security (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Terraform
• Bicep
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
• Background in large-scale engineering, pharmaceutical, or energy sectors (useful but not essential).
