Our client is the world’s leading all-reality streaming service and is seeking an experienced Legal & Business Affairs Counsel to join on an interim basis from mid-May. This is a dynamic brand with an exciting international footprint, known for bold consumer marketing campaigns, major festival sponsorships, experiential activations and high-profile partnerships.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with commercial, marketing and content teams in a creative, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day legal support to the marketing team, advising on a wide range of campaigns, consumer promotions and brand activity, including agency agreements, sponsorship agreements, fan activations, branded partnerships and related marketing initiatives.
You will also support the business on programming acquisition contracts, together with a variety of ad hoc commercial and legal matters across the organisation. There may also be exposure to SaaS / technology agreements and other business affairs work, making this a particularly broad and engaging assignment. Please note this experience is nice to have, though not required.
Candidates MUST have experience in marketing matters. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with ideally around 5 years’ PQE and strong relevant experience. Prior experience supporting marketing and promotional activity is particularly important. Exposure to media, entertainment, consumer brands, sponsorships or events would be highly attractive.
The key soft skills are strong commercial judgement, flexibility and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders.
