An exciting opportunity has arisen for a TV or Film lawyer to join an award-winning production business.

Our client develops and produces a range of award-winning unscripted and scripted TV and film content. You will be providing legal and business affairs support on various matters from the production, development, distribution and financing of various unscripted and scripted television and film projects.

  • Negotiating and drafting long form agreements and term sheets relating to the production, development, and exploitation of television and film projects, including agreements with distributors, commissioners, talent, financiers, contributors, advisors, facilities, locations, access agreements and suppliers.
  • Making sure that production activities comply with all regulations and applicable laws in the UK and other relevant jurisdictions and territories.
  • Collaborating efficiently with various departments including production, creative, finance, marketing and distribution.
  • Assisting in the development of relationships and partnerships between the business and third parties across the UK television and film landscape.

This role focuses on unscripted projects primarily, but you will also support on scripted projects and/or US matters.

A 5 years PQE (minimum) qualified lawyer with extensive hands-on experience and expertise in the production, distribution and development of unscripted television/film.
