Are you a skilled leader in Business & Legal Affairs with a passion for exceptional and world-leading unscripted content? As the Business & Legal Affairs Director for Unscripted, you will lead a substantial team and work across an unparalleled portfolio of unscripted productions, providing business affairs support to key stakeholders. This is an instrumental role and an important part of the management team and critical to the delivery of our client’s global growth strategy. You will manage and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring world-class legal and commercial support across development, production, and distribution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex deal negotiations and production risk management
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with creatives, talent, commissioners, and global partners
- Providing high-quality legal and business affairs guidance across a wide variety of unscripted productions
- Driving operational excellence and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture
The ideal candidate will be an experienced media lawyer with a strong track record in unscripted production. You must have a deep knowledge of UK rights frameworks and commissioning models, as well as outstanding leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
